Multi-market compliance programme

A producer facing PPWR and EPR obligations across dozens of European markets, with no clear picture of where registration was genuinely required. I set the country-by-country strategy, prioritised by regulatory risk, and built the reporting methodology the team now runs on its own.

PPWR readiness

Readiness for exporters into the EU

Food-sector exporters needed to grasp what PPWR meant for their EU market access - fast. Commissioned by Expertise France under the EU-funded CIRCULAR programme, I designed and led a readiness seminar turning the requirements into concrete business implications and a path forward.

Commercial strategy

Sustainable packaging commercialisation

FMCG brands wanted recyclable packaging without sacrificing performance. Leading the commercial push across the EU and Americas, I brought R&D, procurement and sales together to move flexible formats from non-recyclable to mono-material recyclable - and proved the market for them.

Waste economics

Plastic waste economics, Global South

Circularity ambitions in emerging markets often ignore how the waste economy really works on the ground. I examined the economics of plastic recycling and waste infrastructure across the Global South - including the pivotal role of the informal sector - and the models that could connect producers to collection systems.

Circushift is led by Jagannath Srivatsan - an independent advisor who has worked the full packaging value chain, from recycling systems and recycled-content strategy to Design for Recycling and the frontline of EU regulation.

The work spans industry platforms, global brands, recyclers and development agencies across the EU, North America and the Global South.
